Once I am sure Lotus is asleep, I slip from her room. It will be the first time since she has arrived that none of us are with her, but my brothers and I need to talk. What we witnessed in the infirmary isn't normal.
I can already hear Levi's raised voice on the other side of the office door. He isn't angry. No. This is different. There is an edge to his voice that I haven't heard since we took over as the Winter Alphas. He is afraid, and to be honest, so am I. We never planned on bringing home a tribute, and now it appears we have brought home the most desirable one.
