Levi POV
The car ride back to the winter Pack is tense. Lotus is trembling in the back seat with Louis. He is doing his best to calm her nerves, but he is failing miserably. I swear, if he whines her name one more time, I am going to rip out his tongue.
I glance in the rearview mirror and meet Lotus's gaze. Her doe-like, brown eyes are shining with unshed tears, making her look like some sort of cartoon character. I need to turn my gaze back to the road, but I am finding it hard. After swerving off the road for the third time, Lennox smacks me on the back of the head, telling me he will kill me if I wreck the car.
We are all on edge, knowing that time is running out. If we don't claim Lotus as ours, the other Crescent Realm packs will declare war, but I don't know if she is read
