In the nick of time
Uncle Basil and I ran to the garage and took one of the cars out at top speed, racing against the clock because we didn't know what would happen to Alessandro, my heart was racing and my body was shaking, I was really scared I was about to cry. Uncle Basil drove so fast it added to my already fast-beating heart.
"Don't worry Steph we're almost there", Uncle Basil looked over to me.
"Where exactly is 'there' uncle?", I looked back at him.
"An old ranch not too far from our packhouse, it's too mysterious not to be suspected".
Uncle Basil parked by a tree and we got out of the car, we walked slowly to a barn, it did look mysterious and creepy. Two big guys were guarding the entrance, it was most definitely suspicious.
"How are we gonna get inside uncle?", I whispered
