I woke up for just a second when Zach lifted me up in his arms, but I immediately fell right back asleep, and I didn't wake up again until the sun started peeking through the curtains the next morning. Right away, I rolled to my side and put my arm and leg over Zach's body, then I laid my head on his chest.
I could feel the warmth radiating off of his body, so I snuggled against him and soaked in that heat. A second later, he wrapped his arms around me and groggily mumbled, "Are you cold, kitten?"
