    I woke up to pain in my shoulder.  It was still pitch black outside, so I knew it wasn't time to get up yet, but I couldn't fall back asleep no matter how hard I tried.  I was getting frustrated, so I climbed out of bed and grabbed my phone.  I stumbled to the closet and closed the door.  Using the light from my phone, I pulled on a random pair of pajamas, then went to my nightstand and pulled an ashtray out of the little drawer.           I hadn't used the ashtray yet, since I usually sat on the porch.  However, in light of what Jackson did, I was a little scared to sit on the porch by myself in the middle of the night.  Instead, I carried the ashtray to the window in my bedroom, and set it on the windowsill.  After I cracked the window, I lit a cigarette and blew the smoke out of th
