“I want to start our session off today with talking about the reason why you’re here, how do you feel about that?”
I glance at Dr. Barnes with a shrug. We had already done this in our first session but anything to avoid talking about Sienna again. Today she’s back to wearing her usual get-up: jeans and a blouse and her red lipstick is freshly applied. It’s too goddamn early for this type of conversation though and my eyes blink in and out of focus. I hadn’t come back from my date with Arun until almost two in the morning and by that point, my body was far too awake to attempt falling to sleep.
Esme’s snoring on the other side of the room didn’t help much either.
