I smirked at the way Amelia defended herself against Nico, she seems to be learning very quickly. I was relieved because of threats that we were facing, at least I know that she will be able to defend herself if she’s ever caught alone again.
I was startled by the sound of an incoming email and turned away from my window. I looked at the laptop that was on the bedside table and perched on the edge of the bed. My mouth fell open when I read who the email was from. I rushed over to the door and locked it so that I wasn’t disturbed whilst I read it.
