Adriel POV "Get out before I tear your throat open," I growled, my voice vibrating through the floorboards. Audrey flinched, her heels clicking rapidly against the polished hardwood as she backed away from my desk. The smug grin she had been sporting all morning finally vanished, replaced by a flicker of genuine terror. She did not say another word. She simply turned and bolted out of my office, slamming the heavy oak door behind her.
