Chapter 2

Later that evening...

It was already 8:40 pm when Alexa got out of the university pool. Although her friends never approved of her swimming alone after dinner time, it didn’t stop her. Swimming always helped her unwind after a busy week. Her phone buzzed as she opened her locker, messages from her roommates telling her to come back already before curfew filled her inbox. She smiled and placed it back in her bag.

She walked to the shower and took off her swimming shorts. She was just about to take off her one-piece swim suit when she heard a voice calling out for help. Alexa immediately rushed out of the shower and locker room to check, only to be pulled back and slammed on the wall beside the door. Before she could react, there were lips on hers as hands roamed under her breasts. It took a second before the shock wore off and she pushed against the person who had trapped her, fighting flashbacks.

“What…what the hell is going⸻” She heard laughter and looked to the side to find Cassie Reese and Leah Cole, two girls who were envious of her and hated her with a passion, pointing their phone’s camera at her, Luke Henson, Leah’s boyfriend, laughing behind them. She looked at the person she pushed away and recognized Ren Smith, Cassie’s boyfriend, a sinister grin on his face.

Dread filled her as she realized what was happening. Ren took a few steps back as Cassie, Leah and Luke walked towards them. Cassie stood in front of her with a smug smile and started leaning on Ren, who wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

“W-what’s going on?” She stammered out as she backed away, confusion and dread filling her. Cassie smirked at her.

“Well Alexa, what’s going on is that I have a picture of you making out with an unknown student. Now, while being in a relationship may not be strictly forbidden at our university, making out on a common ground half naked and past curfew is strictly a no-no. What do you think everyone will say when they see this in the school paper? Better yet, what would your family say?” Cassie smiled wickedly at her.
