"How is she now?" I asked over the call to Ruhani. Dadi(Grandma) had been admitted to the hospital because of her cataract surgery.
"She's good, but she's insisting to meet you, as now she can see more clearly." She said from the other end of the call with a chuckle.
"I know that you can make her understand, that I can't come home, not now. " I tried to convince my sister, but she didn't budge.
"I know that I can. But why would I? Even I miss you, we all miss you, and want to see you!" Ruhani, the sweet Ruhani just yelled at me. Why? Because I have not visited the Goenka mansion in the last five months.
"Ruhani?" I said, in a pleading voice.
"Please make her understand, just for the last time. I promise that I'll come there by next month. " I continued.
