The chilly air bit the visible skin on my knuckles when Liana and I got to our favorite boutique that specialised in outfits for all occasions from top designers from all over. We entered through the doors that were held open for us by the doorman who was different from the usual elderly man that used to be here. I smiled at him couteously and walked behind Liana.   "Ahhh, my girls." Cindy beamed as she looked at us through her half-moon glasses from behind the wooden reception desk. "I have not seen you beauties in months." She said in an unhappy tone.  Cindy was around my mother's age.
