Winter woke up to the sound of heavy footsteps and anxious trots in the house. Winter stood up abruptly wondering how he’d fall asleep with such loud movements and muffled conversation going on outside the door.
“He’s not in here either” Winter instantly guessed the voice as he approached the door. It made him automatically accelerate his way to the sitting room where she was standing with hands on her hips, trying her best to keep her voice down while anxiously conversing with Terran who was right in front of her.
