Alpha's Queen - Chapter Twenty

~HER SIDE~

“i did what you asked me to!” i said quietly

“uh? What are you talking about?” John asked

“i quit my job at the restaurant and on the vet” i said while reading a paper and signning it

“oh…sorry, i know you really loved those!”

“its okay, its done, you better bring me work everyday now in the morning or i will die of boredom!” i said playfully

“sure thing, my princess!” he answered with a smile

After he left i went for a shower and got ready to go to my cliff.

~HIS SIDE~

I had to leave in the morning to take care of my pack, i was their alpha, i couldnt just stay with her all day, everyday, and forget about my duty, so i left the woods behind her house, and went to my pack. After a shower and getting ready for the day i went to take care of pack’s business and train with warriors. The warriors that were patroling said they didnt find any traces of rogues, fortunatly, maybe they gave up on our territory, i would like to think that, but i couldnt get careless, they could also be planning something against my pack. The day went by without much effort, everything seems fine and everyone was happy i found my mate, also their future Luna.

At night time i was having dinner with mosto f my pack, there were only a few doing patrol, and one of the warriors patroling mind-linked me “alpha, Luna, our Luna is in the woods, on her way to the cliff”

“keep an eye on her from a distance, just in case anything happens until i get there”

“sure thing, alpha”

‘lets go meet mate! Meet mate! Let me meet mate too!’ my wolf kept saying and i answered ‘as long as you dont scare her away from us’ he answered right away offended ‘hey, she is my mate too, i would never do anything to scare her!!’ i think i might have hurt his feeling

I got up from the table and everyone rose their heads and stop talking to look at me “ah, sorry but im leaving, your Luna is in the woods and i will go now”

They all smiled as i left, when i got out of the house i took my clothes off and changed to my wolf form then i started running to go meet my mate.

When i got to the cliff she was sitting on the edge, with her legs falling from the cliff and humming a song her hair was tied into a ponytail, quite beautiful i must say, i was able to see part of her face from the back since her hair wasnt in the way, i started purring at the sight, soon enough my dam wolf had to make noise and break a branch on the floor, i coursed him so dam much when she noticed us, however instead of fear she just smiled and turned back to the water at the end of the cliff. i was scared she would fear us and either jump or run back home, so i approached her slowly and once i was within her reach i lay down on the floor with ears flato n my head so she could understand i was being submissive to her, she looked at me with those mesmerizing black eyes and reached her hand as if in permission to touch me, without even thinking about it i just crawled to her hand and let her pet me. As she was confortable petting me i kept crawling until i was completly by her side. She kept petting me and feeling my fur on her hands and between her finger while humming the same song, i felt soa t peace being with her i just lay my head on her legs and listen to her. I wasnt expecting to fall asleep, but i did, dam it, i dont know how many hours went by but i suddenly felt her move, she was also falling asleep but instead of getting up and going home after i moved my head from her lap she gets up and sits a bit behing the cliff, where none of us could fall and pat the seat besides her to tell me to go there sit with her, which i did. I was expecting her to just lay down around me as soon as i lay there next to her, her body was completly wrapping mine and i found myself purring, we both fell asleep with each other’s warm.

I never slept so well, i woke up with the sun hitting on my body and the sparks from my mate’s contact with my body. I was still half asleep feeling it all when suddenly i wide my eyes and see my mate really wrapped around me, searching for my body’s heat to warm her up and i look up to see a few pack members in the woods grinning, to which i ust mind-linked “how about patrolling instead of looking at your alpha and Luna with that grin on your faces?!” seriously, dont they know what privacy was?! they only answer “yes alpha, sorry!” and JAmes that caught up to them mind-linked me saying “great night yours! Sorry to interrupt but we need to talk!” “sure, go to the pack house, i will meet you there shortly” i answer while groanning.
