My entire week has been incredibly hectic, after I agreed to marry Clara, both our families started planning everything for it.
No one knows about it, it’s just on paper and we will get married at City Hall so there was no huge party or anything. It was just Clara, our parents, and I, and honestly, it’s better that way. I did not want anyone to know so after Clara and I talked about it, she agreed to get married and keep it a secret, it was almost like a contract.
I was in my condo doing some paperwork and soon got a call from my mother so I sighed before picking up.
“Yes?” I answered.
“You can get married tomorrow, call Clara and ask her if the date is fine, okay?” she said.
