“I don’t think after everything any of us wants to get married again,” he laughed and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
“Oh,” I said to myself.
“Okay…” I said feeling a lump in my throat.
I watched him as he came in and out of the bathroom with hesitation whether I should ask this or not.
“You’re- you’re not serious right?” I tell him.
“Yeah,” he says.
“Jayden, you never want to get married again?” I say and he looks at me and tilts his head.
“I never wanted to get married in the first place, Clara was just something I had to do for my company,” he spoke.
