“Happy birthday,” he said.
I looked up at him to find his eyes and smiled.
“Thank you,” I said and he smiled back.
“How did you know?” I asked crossing my arms.
“I know everything,” he answered and I rolled my eyes.
“Just answer me,” I punched his shoulder softly which made him chuckle.
“I saw it on your file when you first came to the company and I remembered,” he explained.
It’s been a long time since my first day at his company so him remembering warmed my heart. He is not so bad when you get to know him, that’s why I feel this way about him.
“I have a gift for you,” he said and I furrowed my eyebrows.
“You didn’t have to,” I said.
“Let’s go,” he took my hand but I stopped him before we could go anywhere.
