"You don't need to pack a lot of stuff, princess. We can buy all that you need when we arrive in New York." He stated leaning by the door, arms crossed while watching me fold my clothes as fast as I can. We needed to be at the airport in an hour.
His mother had told me that he'll be going back to New York after the party but I did not expect it would be two days after and he only told me today.
He asked me to come but I have the choice to stay if I want to.
Of course, I'm coming.
I know I'll be leaving a lot of things behind, especially important people in my life. But I figured that it will best for me to go with him and move on from the things that would remind me of my past. I want to forget... or if I couldn't, I want to move on.
I stopped on what I was currently doing and turn my head, scowling at him when I realized in my head why only ask me now, about going with him to New York.
"So if we didn't make up, daddy would really leave me?" I questioned.
"It's not like that, princess... well, if we're not able to makeup, you'll have the choice... you can stay here if you want to like you do now. I don't want to drag you all the way to New York if you didn't want to." He answered.
"See? You would really leave me. How am I supposed to know if you're ignoring me? I'm not that thick-faced to just go with you without being asked to." I pouted and words began pouring when I was only thinking of mere speculation of what might have happened if we did not makeup.
"And you'll be taking Irene as your little again, wouldn't you? Of course, you would since she also lives in Manhattan!" I exclaimed out of frustration for realizing they could've been together if not for me.
"I'm seriously getting tired of you bringing up Irene into every bit of our conversation." He muttered head bowed while shaking it. Then, he let out a long exasperated sigh.
I know I shouldn't be like this.
If this is the other way around and he brings up what I did with Damon, I would be completely beaten up by guilt, and thank God, he isn't upbraiding me, but I just can't let it go.
He came back to her after 2 years because he was frustrated with me. Damon and I were separated only mere weeks before my mistake happened and I'm still in love with him at that time. I only realized my feelings for my daddy when I was confronting Damon.
I'm not trying to weigh which of us did the bigger problem because I can easily say that I f****d it all up. But I can't help but think that he and Irene would be together whenever he's upset with me.
Unlike him, I can't forbid my daddy to see another girl.
Unlike him, he isn't bound by rules where he would ask for permission to go out and meet people.
"I'm sorry, daddy..." I muttered as I flop my ass on the edge of the bed.
"You shouldn't be worried about her... it's like you don't trust me. We need to do something with that jealousy." He stated with a soft smirk on the side of his lips.
I nodded in response, trying hard not to look at him, keeping my head bowed, pouting and scowling while fidgeting with my ring.
"We need to go, baby... leave those, just bring important stuff." He added then turned, leaving me in the room.
I'll be punished for not trusting daddy.
Wait... is there a rule for it?
But I really shouldn't be guilt-tripping him when I more than guilty myself.
How could I have become like this?
Was I being pampered too much?
I then put my phone, my passport, my wallet containing my IDs, some cash with the platinum card he gave, and some makeup inside my old leather mini backpack since I don't have much important stuff.
I was wearing a navy blue, cold shoulder, rose-patterned top tucked in a red skirt. I wanted to wear shorts or pants but I think it would hurt my princess part since all my undies were confiscated.
I just need to be careful with my skirt...
We were chauffeured to the airport and I was very careful about getting off the car.
On our way inside, he held my hand tightly as we went our way through the sea of photographers. It felt like we were one of those celebrities.
I then look up to daddy as we walk through these people with all the flashing lights and he looks down at me with a soft smile before he let go of my hand to hold onto my waist, pulling me closer to him.
He knew I'm not used to the attention and now that our engagement is publicized, the media will be curious to learn who I am.
Daddy then asked for my IDs and passport and gave it to a blonde woman who he introduced as Emma who had big green, doe eyes. She's daddy's personal secretary and she's also so gorgeous.
We then get on the car where we've been brought to a private jet that daddy owned.
My father owned a private jet as well which I never had the chance to fly in, but daddy's jet is way bigger. It was a four-engine jet.
When we boarded the plane, his mom was already seated beside the window where I immediately run, greeting her with a hug then sat beside with. However, I noticed that this jet was big, but the cabin feels small.
Daddy sat in front of me before crossing his legs, asking, "You gonna sit there, Mia?"
"Yes..." I answered but smiled at his mom. I've always felt comfortable with her. I was always looking forward in seeing and talking to her.
"You sure?" He asked and I nodded quickly all smiles but a few minutes later, Emma boarded the plane together with someone I thought had already left the day after the party.
Irene.
She walks towards us, smiling softly while Emma sat near the entrance of the cockpit beside a man who I learned is daddy's personal bodyguard named Thomas.
"This seat taken?" She asked daddy making him look up to her. He then looks at me and answered, "Nope."
I rolled my eyes and heard a soft chuckle from him and his mom while Irene takes the window seat beside him.
"So, Irene... I thought you said you'll be leaving the day after the party?" I asked her as soon as she has settled down on her seat.
"She canceled due to some reasons... I offered her to fly with us 'cause... why not?" Daddy answered which made me raise a brow.
"Oh... I'm sorry. Should I be calling you Irene now?" I scoffed at him with sarcasm.
He chuckled briefly then poke his tongue inside his cheek before biting his lower lip with a soft glare. He clearly looks annoyed but I'm more annoyed than anyone else in this aircraft.
As of this moment, we're equals so I can talk back as much as I want and how I want it without expecting a punishment.
"Uhm... I decided to cancel so I could visit my grandparents in the province." Irene answered demurely.
"Really?... didn't you say you only come back to Korea as a favor to my Adam? Now you suddenly felt like visiting your grandparents when you could've done it a few days before the party?" I retorted.
"I was in a schedule. I have to finish your dress in time for-"
"Oh... really? As I recall, there isn't much need to fix with the dress when I met you for the final fitting... So it took almost 2 days to finish the whole thing? There wasn't much of a difference when it arrived."
"Emilia..." daddy interrupted, unamused with all I stated, and his expression clearly reflects annoyance.
"Oh my... this will be an interesting 14-hour flight." His mother chuckled.
The pilot then informed us through the intercom to fasten our seatbelt for take-off.
During takeoff, daddy kept his gaze on me with that same expression while I... I tried to keep up with his staring game but I ended up looking away.
I just don't feel right with Irene now.
It's my fault that he got upset with me. But he sought someone else's comfort... someone who still has feelings for him.
I don't have the right to behave like this, I know. But I can't help feeling annoyed now that she's here.
And I have a bad feeling about it.
After the flight was stable enough for us to take off the seatbelts, daddy then stood and looked down at me, "We need to talk." He ordered sternly.
I quickly undid mine then followed him wearing a frown on my face. He then leads me to another cabin which is a bedroom.
As soon as he locked the door, he turned and returned my frown with a scowl, "You seriously need to do that in front of my mother." He leaned against the door, arms crossed and brows tightly furrowed.
I flopped my ass against the edge of the bed, crossing my arms as well with a full pout on.
"Nice of you to offer her to fly with us." I scoffed sarcastically, avoiding his gaze as I turn my head left.
"I told her to cancel her flight because... well, it was when I was still upset with you that night when she went to our unit. Listen, princess, don't take it out on her. I was the one who asked her..." His eyes then squint the same time he crosses his arms across his chest, "I may have to add another rule when it comes to being polite regardless of negative feelings."
Go on Adam, defend her.
"I wanna talk to you as your equal now, Addy."
"All right... but let me just remind you, that we don't equal unless we say so. I hope you know you're getting punished for your sarcasm earlier."
My mouth hung open, surprised with what I just heard. I thought that whenever we're outside with other people, we're equals. Though he never really stated this in the beginning, he just told me to call him by his name when we're in the presence of other people.
"What? I thought that-"
"No... we call each other by our names when we're in public, I never said we'll be equals if we're in public."
I nodded in response, pouting down at the floor before asking, "After we left the party that night... What does she know about us?"
"The last thing she knew is that we aren't in good terms."
"Does she know that we've made up?"
"... I haven't answered her messages after that night. I was busy with you."
"So she doesn't know?"
"Yes." He confirmed.
Why didn't he tell her? She'll definitely expect something from him now.
"Was I wrong to act like that in front of your mother and in front of your lover? She still has feelings for you and after that night with her, she'll definitely expect you to-"
"She isn't my lover." He stated, cutting me off with my words.
"Not for you right now 'cause we've made up but she doesn't know that." I retorted back.
He suddenly scoffs, "I haven't got the time to tell her. I'm with you right after we left the party and what have we done after that? How could I f*****g talk to her when I'm all over you?"
I have to stop myself from being like this but the little green-eyed monster inside my head is feeding off from all thought of what they've shared. Plus, the fact that she indirectly told me that she still loves him is making it difficult for me to stay calm when she's around.
I know very well I'm not in the position to get jealous like this, but I just can't sit still and say nothing.
They fuckin' had s*x!
And since she still doesn't know we've made up, she expects him to be with her. There's no doubt in that. She seemed pretty confident today, too.
"What are you so worried about, Mia?" He asked, walking towards me.
"What if daddy becomes upset with me? Where will you go?" My lower lip curled into a pout as I questioned him softly who's kneeling in front of me and holding my hands.
"Why would you think that I'm going to be upset with you?" He smiled softly.
"Because your princess isn't perfect, unlike Ire-" I was cut off when he sighed out loud.
"Irene isn't perfect either and I'm also not an exception. But baby, you have to trust me when I said there will only be one princess for me." He muttered, hand reaching for my cheek before pinching it softly. "We both made a mistake. Didn't we promise that it'll never happen again?"
"But she was your little before... and you sought her comfort when you were upset with me. I don't want daddy going back to his other little girl."
"I'm not going back... You haven't got any idea of how much I wanted you, even before I knew Irene. And now that you're mine, I don't see any other girl other than you, princess. Daddy's only looking at you." He then kisses the back of my hand.
"If I did get upset with you then you definitely broke a rule and you'll be going to be punished, that's for sure. I'm not gonna go run to any girl anymore. Please trust me, baby..." he added, looking up to me.
"Okay..." I softly whispered, nodding gently before adding with a pout on, "... it's her I don't trust. And she's... really pretty."
He chuckled momentarily while shaking his head, "I'm not gonna be saying this to flatter you, princess, but you're much, much more lovely in my eyes. If only you could see through them... you'll know I'm stating a fact."
"Really?"
"Yes... a hundred and ten percent yes." He smiled widely. I smiled back before biting my lower lip then look down on his hands upon mine.
I then leaned down so I could kiss him and he responded with sweet gentleness.
Somehow, his kisses assured me.
I said I'm going to trust him so that's exactly what I have to do. He doesn't deserve this kind of behavior so I need to straighten my act out.
"Would you like to have some playtime, princess." He whispered between the kiss which quickly earned my vehement nodding.
Finally... a playtime.
I've always been punished but never had playtime with him. I've always been curious about how it goes but reading those blogs by other littles had me feeling excited.
"But that'll be for later, baby girl. Every broken rule must be punished immediately." He stated with a smirk.
Shit.
I'm not complaining, but... he will be teasing me again.
