"We're going to go shower and head to Jake's party later tonight," Emma says as she turns towards me with an accusing stare
"If we get pranked again, you're kicked off the squad" she says
"Why? She's the best thing that's happened to it in three years" I hear Easton say from behind causing Emma to straighten up and curl a smelly yellow strand of her hair around her finger
"Of course She is, I was just joking. Duh" she says while giggling and putting all her attention on him
He turns to me and smiles, but immediately frowns when he sees my scared expression
"Are you okay?" He asks as he goes to put his hand on my shoulder, but I flinch away causing Stella to step in
"Don't worry Easton, I'll take care of her" she says as she grabs my arm and walks me away from them and towards my car
