"Okay." Leslie replied casually. Her phone buzzed-it was Juliet calling.
She had already sent the design last night; Juliet had been thoroughly impressed.
"Morning, Leslie! I've got the renovation team lined up-your studio's getting started today."
Juliet was the kind who never wasted time.
Leslie's lips curled into a faint smile, voice cool and even. "Got it. Thanks, Juliet."
Hearing her say thank you, Juliet was slightly caught off guard.
Whoever said Leslie was a spoiled brat? She seemed polite enough.
"No need to thank me. If anything, I should be thanking you. If everything goes well, it should be done by July 20."
"Did the money come in? I can transfer it to you."
"No worries, I'll cover it for now. We'll settle it later."
"Alright."
