  Broderick's eyes darkened, but his voice stayed calm as ever. "Why the panic? Just say it."   Still, there was something in that tone - was it just her imagination, or did it almost sound... frustrated?   His steadiness rubbed off on Stephen, who took a deep breath. Yeah, just now he definitely lost his cool a bit. Feeling kinda embarrassed, he nodded quickly.   Pushing down his nerves, he spoke clearly: "That batch of goods we've been watching... someone's got their eyes on it."   Broderick's eyes narrowed sharply, but he quickly steadied himself again.   "Got it. I'm heading over."   "Alright, got it, Boss."   Nobody outside really knew how critical that shipment was to them.   Broderick ended the call and strode inside.   Leslie was sitting up in bed, quietly watching him.
