  Broderick suddenly felt uneasy. He stood up and called out for Leslie.   He opened the bathroom door on the first floor and looked around before spotting her.   She was curled up in the corner, arms wrapped around her knees, head buried, as if she'd fallen asleep.   Relieved, Broderick let out a heavy breath-though part of that relief was mixed with frustration and concern.   "Leslie."   He walked toward her. Slowly, Leslie lifted her head, smiling extra brightly.   "Broderick, it's really you. You came to get me! I'm so sorry. I never should've trusted Lydia. I shouldn't have gone to dinner with her.
