Time flew by, and just like that, it was already mid-July.
Broderick Ackerley and Leslie Green were pretty much out the door at sunrise and back late every day.
Miles Ackerley, on the other hand, was still his usual lazy self—but lately, he was spending a lot more time at home. Not much of a choice though, considering he was broke now.
But just because he didn't have money didn't mean his grandparents didn’t.
Miles drove straight to the Ackerley estate, eyes bright with anticipation.
Luckily, Matilda and Walter Ackerley happened to be home. Seeing their eldest grandson show up, both of them looked pretty happy.
"Miles, what’s your big bro busy with these days?"
