Broderick Ackerley instantly went on high alert. With their parents gone, he couldn’t afford for anything to happen to his younger siblings.
Sienna tensed too. “Leslie, what’s going on with Miles?”
Leslie Green gently patted her hand. “Let’s eat first, okay?”
She tried to keep calm, but deep down? She was uneasy too. That Eleanor woman—Leslie had a gut feeling she wasn’t done causing trouble.
