"Why exactly did you come with us?, Don't you have any work to do?"Avi asked Clara in the elevator. She knew Clara wasn't the type to tag along.
The elevator opened at the top floor and they stepped out.
Kevin went into Alex Banks office.
"I've been fired from my job,I didn't submit anything for three days. So I'm here to play CEO since I've got nothing to do"Clara said and followed Kevin into the office.
Clara walked to Alex Banks chair and sat on it.
"What are you doing?"Kevin asked.
"I'm your boss for today so talk to me with respect" Clara said.
Kevin raised an eyebrow, he couldn't get enough of Avi and now Clara.
"Fine, the project team 1 delayed their submission. What should I do boss?"Kevin said.
He gave a wicked smile.
"Send in the team leader,I'll speak with him or her" Clara said. She relaxed on the chair and put her legs on the table. She felt like a boss.
After a few minutes, the team leader walked in.
It was Jeremy, Kevin sat on the couch to watch the fun.
"Sir, you sent for me "Jeremy said.
Clara turned in the swivel chair and looked at Jeremy, she frowned.
"Clara, what are you doing here and on the CEO's chair. Have you lost it?"Jeremy reprimanded.
"Is that the way to talk to your boss?"Kevin asked.
"She's not the boss, she isn't even related to the boss"Jeremy said. Clara sighed and sat up,he doesn't just know when to stop talking.
"I'm your boss' girlfriend so that makes me automatically your boss "Clara explained.
"No it doesn't "Kevin said.
"Mind your business Kevin "Clara shut Kevin up.
She faced Jeremy, she picked the report files from the table and threw them at him.
The files scattered all over Jeremy.
"Don't you know how to do your job properly,Why were you even hired if you can't finish such a simple task"Clara said raising her voice.
Kevin had never seen this side of her.
Jeremy was shocked, the naive little girl he once knew was now talking down at him.
"Looks like you don't have anything to say for yourself. Pick up the files,I don't like littered floors" Clara said.
"You want me to pick it"Jeremy was shocked again, she was asking him to pick up what she threw, he had never felt this embarrassed.
"You're not deaf"
Jeremy picked the files and placed them on the table.
"Take the files with you, I don't need it. In fact, the company won't be needing you anymore."Clara said. Kevin looked at Clara,it seems like things are getting more interesting.
"What do you mean?"Jeremy asked.
"You sure are very rude. Jeremy Kross you're fired, you have until 12 to pack up your things and leave "Clara said. Kevin smiled.
"You're not serious,are you. You can't fire me, you're not the CEO. You don't have the power to fire me "Jeremy said like he had lost it.
"Who said she doesn't have the power to fire you, she's your boss after all"Alex Banks said as he walked into his office.
"Sir,I'm really sorry. That's not what I meant." Jeremy begged on and on but he wasn't listening.
Alex Banks walked to Clara's side and kissed her.
"Kevin call security to throw him out and excuse us"Alex Banks ordered.
The security officers came in and dragged the crazy man out.
Only Alex and Clara were left in the office.
Alex Banks blinded the office glass and locked the door.
"What are you doing, Alex?" Clara asked.
""What does it look like I'm doing babe,I want to f**k you " Alex Banks said.
"We can't do it here in the office " Clara said. She didn't want to s*x with Alex Banks because she was afraid that she might like this guy.
Alex Banks opened Clara's shirt and her n*****s were already erect waiting for him.

Clara walked out of his office and left.

Clara sat opposite to Anna Banks, Alex's mother.
She had called Clara the other day asking to meet up.
Anna Banks looked at her, carefully observing her.
"So you're my son's girlfriend,huh"Anna Banks asked.
"Yes ma"Clara responded nervously.
"I've always wondered what type of girl he was talking about,but now I see that it's just a plain looking, ordinary girl" Anna Banks said.
"I know that Alex doesn't date girls like you, you're just his s*x thing"Anna added
Clara clenched her fist under the table.
"Alex Banks has a fiancee and she's going to be my future daughter in-law. She's the daughter of the PJ group"Anna Banks brought out an envelope from her bag and placed it in front of Clara.
"It's a ten million dollars check, take it and never show your face to my son ever again, you shameless slut"Anna Banks said and left without giving Clara a chance to rebuff.
Clara put the cheque in her bag and left.

Avi stepped out of her house and met Alex Banks.
He had been trying to call Clara but she wasn't picking up,so he decided to come check up on her at home.
"She didn't come home"Avi said to Alex Banks.
"But where could she be?"Kevin said.
"She said she was going to meet up with someone,do you know who it might be?"Alex Banks asked Avi.
"I got no idea. You two should go back now,I'll make sure to call you when she comes home" Avi said and went in.

At 12am, Clara opened the door and came in, she saw Avi sitting on the couch probably waiting for her.
"I'm back"Clara said and sat on the sofa.
"Where have you been, Alex has been trying to reach you but you didn't pick up the phone"
"I met with someone"
"Who?"Avi asked curiously.
"Alex's mother"Clara said.
"What,why didn't you tell Alex you were meeting with his mother"Avi said.
Clara sighed as she opened her purse and brought out a white envelope, she gave it to Avi.
"What's this?"Avi asked.
"Open it and see for yourself"
Avi opened it and screamed out
"ten million dollars,who gave you this cheque?"
"Alex's mother, she gave me the cheque so I would leave Alex"Clara said.
"What,how could she try to buy you off?"Avi huffed.
"Well, I'm going to return this to Alex tomorrow and break up with him"
"Are you mad Clara,I don't care about the money but why would you break up with Alex"
"Alex likes you a lot Clara. Tell me the truth do you have feelings for Alex"
"Avi,I didn't even want a relationship with him in the first place but whenever we're together it feels like..."
"Clara,you like him and I know it. I've known you for a long time now so you should do what you think is right"
"Thanks Avi"Clara said and hugged her.
"But seriously, are you going to return that money. that's a lot of money"
"Avi"Clara called and they both laughed.

The next morning,Avi and Clara pulled up at Alex's office. They got into the elevator.
Avi noticed a bruise on Clara's arm.
"What happened to your arm?"Avi asked.
"I stumbled and fell last night on my way home" Clara lied.
"You should be more careful Clara,I wouldn't want you to harm your pretty face" Avi teased Clara.
Clara laughed, she felt really good this morning.
They got out of the elevator and parted ways, Avi went to her office while Clara went to see Alex.
Clara opened the door and saw Alex Banks and few other people. It looked like they'r having a serious conversation.
"Alex I want to discuss something with you right now" Clara said ignoring the gaze of the people there.
"Why don't you wait outside, he'll be done in a minute" Kevin said.
"What I have to say can't wait Kevin"Clara said firmly. Kevin didn't happen a good feeling about this.
"You all should excuse us right now"Alex Banks finally spoke. He wasn't in a good mood,his expression was really cold.
The directors stood up and left.
Kevin glanced at Clara and also walked out.
"Where did you go last night, You did not pick up my calls"Alex asked coldly.
"Where I went to is none of your business?"
Alex's gaze fell on her bruised arm. He immediately stood up and held her arm.
"How did you injure your arm?"Alex Banks asked.
"I stumbled and fell last night"Clara lied again.
Alex smirked "Do you think you can lie to me?Who did this to you?"Alex Banks asked tightening his grip on her hand.
"Alex you're hurting me"Clara said painfully with tears welling up in her eyes.
Alex Banks let go of her arm.
"The bruise on my arm is not the most important thing now." Clara dropped the cheque on the table. Alex Banks opened it.
He recognised his mother's signature.
"Why did my mother give you this?"Alex asked.
"She asked me to break up with you, Alex"
Clara sighed and continued,
"I know you have a fiancee.."
"I don't have anyone except you, that's just my mother's arrangement. I don't even agree with her decision" Alex Banks said interrupting her.
"Well,I don't care if you have a fiancee or not. Let's break up, Alex Banks"
"I told you that nothing will ever make me break up with you Clara"Alex Banks said angrily.
Clara could see the fire in his eyes, she took few steps back.
"Clara, do you like me?" Alex Banks asked.
"You shouldn't be asking such a question right now "Clara said.
