"Do we have to do this now?" Alex Banks asked.
"I should've told you earlier. A few weeks ago, our men sighted Maya Stark" Kevin said.
"What are you saying, Maya Stark is dead. She was shot and fell off the cliff,her body was found" Alex Banks was already loosing it.
"She's alive,I saw her myself. She was with her sister" Kevin said.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Alex Banks said grabbing Kevin by the collar.
"Find out where she is right now, there is only one explanation, she is behind all of this"

Maya pushed open the door to Quinn's room, she was outraged.
"What did you do, Quinn?" She yelled.
"Don't you know how to knock before entering someone's room" Quinn said, applying her facial cream.
"Do you think I give a f**k about your damn privacy. Little sis, I warned you not to mess with my plans" Maya said.
"Your plans" Quinn stopped and laughed. "I didn't mess with your plans,I just carried out my own plan. Is there anything wrong with that?" Quinn said.
"I don't think you get it Quinn, killing that b***h isn't going to make Alex Banks look at you" Maya Stark said, trying to control her anger.
"I don't care Maya. If I can't have him ,then no one can. I'd rather die than to watch him with another woman" Quinn said, glaring at Maya.
"I'll give you a piece of advice, you had better get rid of your obsession of Alex Banks or you'll end up like him" Maya said and slammed the door.
She went straight to her bar and Hugo poured her a drink.
"I want you to do something for me " Maya Stark said.
"Clara was rushed to the hospital, find out if she made it "
Maya Stark added and gulped down her drink.

Avi rushed up to the doctor as he came out from the operating room.
"Doctor, how is she?" Avi asked worried. "She's out of danger. The operation was successful but she hasn't woken up yet. We'll have to move her to the ward and we'll conduct a CT scan when she wakes up " the doctor said, he took a bow and left.
Minutes later, Clara was wheeled out of the room and was moved to a private ward.
Avi sat beside her for hours, sobbing quietly. She blamed herself for not being able to do anything while she was in this condition.
Avi felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned back and saw that it was Kevin.
"You scared me, Kevin" Avi said, sighing in relief.
"You've been crying all night, your eyes is puffy" Kevin said and hugged her.
"Don't cry too much, she's going to be okay" Kevin said trying to comfort her.
"Where's Alex?" Avi asked, pulling out of his embrace.
"He will be coming later,he had something to take care of urgently" Kevin said.
"Wow, that son of a b***h. What could be more important than his girlfriend. I can't believe that bastard " Avi cursed.
"You shouldn't curse like that " Kevin said frightened by her sudden change in demeanour.
"Why shouldn't I curse,are you supporting that bastard " Avi shouted furiously.
"If I were the one on the bed, won't you come to see me?" Avi asked.
"Of course, I'll come to see you. Don't be mad Avi" Kevin said. He was trying so hard to soothe her.
"Did you see the face of the man who attacked you Kevin asked.
"No, he was wearing a mask " Avi said and nodded her head.
"Did you notice anything about him, I'll need something if I want to find him" Kevin said.
"Hhmmm, there was a dragon tattoo on his left arm and he had a big build" She said after thinking hard.

Hugo bowed before Maya Stark,
"You should skip the formalities and report to me directly " Maya Stark said.
"Clara's operation was successful but she hasn't woken up yet" Hugo said.
"That b***h actually survived, she is a lot tougher than I think" Maya said and sighed heavily. She poured another glass of wine and drank it slowly.
"Ma'am,is something wrong. You look bothered, if it's about Clara then I'll finish her off" Hugo said.
"It's not about Clara so leave her alone. I'm worried about Quinn, she left home since noon and she isn't picking my calls. You know how she is with Alex Banks , I'm worried that she would ruin everything " Maya said and slumped on the bar table.
"I'll find her and have somebody watch her. I'll make sure that she does not cross paths with your plan" Hugo said and left.
She picked up her phone and called Don, "When are you going to do the job, it's been three days now"
"I'm sorry ma'am, I'm trying my best to reach him but these days there isn't much going on with him. He is either in the office or in his villa, I need you to understand" Don said.
"I'll give you one more week so just make sure you get the job done" She said and hung up.Kevin collected the glass of whiskey from Alex Banks. He had been drinking all night,he couldn't wrap his head around what had been happening.
"You should stop drinking now, you have drank a lot already"
Kevin said.
"How is Clara doing?" Alex asked.
"Why are you asking me, you should go and see her for yourself" Kevin said.
"I don't think I can face her right now " Alex Banks said burying his face in his hands.
"Did you find out anything about the man?" Alex Banks asked.
Kevin stood up and looked at him,"I know who he is but I won't tell you until you stop drinking " Kevin said firmly. Alex dropped his glass and returned the whiskey bottle to the shelf.
"I've stopped drinking,so tell me " Alex banks said.
"It was Hugo, Maya's personal bodyguard " Kevin spilled the beans.
"What are we going to do with that b***h , it's so difficult to find her. She's like a fox, very clever and cunning " Alex Banks said.

"Wake up,Avi . It's morning already " Clara said weakly.
Avi quickly jumped up as she heard her voice.
"Clara oh my God, you're awake. I'll call the doctor for you " Avi said and left to call a doctor.
A few minutes later, the doctor had finished examining her and left , "the doctor said you can be discharged tomorrow but you'll have to rest at home. I'll take care of you" Avi reassured her.
"Where's Alex?" Clara asked. Avi sighed and sat beside her, she didn't want to tell her that he didn't show up all night.
"I'm here baby " Alex Banks said walking into the ward.
"You f*****g son of a b***h, what are you doing here after deciding not to show up last night " Avi said fiercely.
"I'm so sorry baby,I wasn't feeling too well yesterday. Are you okay, what did the doctor say" Alex asked.
"Stop pretending to care" Avi said, she sneered at him and left the room.
"Are you okay,how are you feeling?"Alex asked.
"I'm fine, I'll be discharged tomorrow " Clara announced.
"That's very good. You'll be staying with me for now till I ensure your safety " Alex Banks said. "You are also going to be under 24 hour surveillance. I don't want this to ever happen again " Alex added.
"I think it's too much. I'll stay with you but I don't agree to the surveillance. I'll be fine, don't worry about me too much" Clara said.
"I won't let you out of my sight anymore babe " Alex Banks said and kissed her forehead lightly.

Mr Banks slammed his hands on the table. He stared furiously at his wife, Anna Banks.
"Don't give me that look. It's not my fault that your son ran out of a meeting because of that girl" Anna Banks said feeling offended.
"The girl was in an accident but he didn't go to see her last night ,he was in his villa " Mr Banks said.
"I let him have his way with that girl just for fun" He added.
"I don't think it's just for fun, that lady has your son wrapped around her fingers. I'm sure he is with her right now. You have to stop this or else he'll end up giving up the company in the name of love" Anna Banks said.
"I think he takes after you, you also left everything for love " Mr Banks reminded her.
"I know and I'm now regretting my decisions " Anna Banks said furiously.
"I don't care about that, just talk to your son. He should apologize to the directors and reschedule the meeting or else I'll throw both of you out of my house " He warned .
"You're unbelievable,I didn't do anything so why am I included. He's also your son,why not talk to him yourself?" Anna Banks said and stormed out of the room.

Kevin sat with Alex Banks in the office. They both stared at each other intently,
"So you couldn't find her " Alex Banks asked, breaking the silence.
"We searched everywhere but we didn't find. It was like she was like she was never here to begin with " Kevin said.
"Where could she be hiding. Did you find any leads on Hugo, he does the dirty work after all" Alex said.
"I don't know how that bastard manages to leave no trace at all. I sent a few men to check Clara's place,there was no sign of a forced entry" Kevin analysed.
Alex Banks rubbed his forehead, thinking of what to do next. He knew that Maya was very smart and cunning. She was not someone to be underestimated.
His secretary suddenly walked in," Someone is here to see you sir but she doesn't have an appointment. She says she is Quinn Stark" he said with his head down.
"Send her in" Kevin said.
"Why do you think she came here?" Kevin asked.
"I don't know,we should find out first. We may be able to find Maya Stark through her" Alex Banks said.
"Send somebody to put a GPS tracker on her car"
