6 The rooms at the rear of the Wauchope Hotel consisted of a row of tiny box-like structures containing nothing more than a single bed, a small bedside table, one chair, and a small screen television mounted on a bracket attached to the wall opposite the bed. Originally built to house workers from the Wolfram mine, these were not four or five star accommodations, and in most cases hardly two-star.
