Nicholas receives a call informing him that the search team has arrived. He asks the team leaders to come upstairs so they can discuss the next steps. He says to his grandfather, “I'm just going to change.”
When he returns, he is wearing black pants with lots of pockets, a black shirt, and a leather jacket. He puts on black leather boots with thick soles, sits down, and laces them up. His grandfather looks at him and asks, “Are you sure you want to go?” Nicholas looks up and raises an eyebrow. His grandfather sighs, “OK, and do you have enough men?” Nicholas laughs dryly, “There are 50 people down there, spread across three buses. They're all coming with us to the opposite location.” He takes out a radio and turns it on. He briefly informs the men that he'll be down shortly, then receives
