Robert asks, “Who?” The man replies, “I don't know.” Robert breaks his middle finger and he screams. Tears run down his cheeks and Robert asks, “Who?” The driver replies, “A Miss Anderson.” Robert asks, “Miss or Mrs?” The driver shouts, “Hey man, does it matter?” Robert breaks the right wrist of the man to the left of the driver, who screams, “Miss, it was Miss.” Robert asks, “I'm going to throw pictures of different people at the wall, who is it?” The driver screams, “That one. The fourth from the top.” Robert nods, “Thanks for your cooperation.” Leila calls a doctor and has him treat the fractures. Then she takes the video of the interrogation and saves it on a flash drive. She looks at her brothers and says, “You guys can interact with Robert a little longer. I'll be in my office.” She drives upstairs and says to Stan, who is coming towards her, “Get me a line to Peter Crowl.” Stan nods and shortly afterwards places a coffee in front of Leila and says, “Line 2.” Leila nods and presses line 2. "Hello, Mr. Crowl, this is probably a bad time, but I've just come from an interrogation with three men who tried to kidnap me outside your office. Miss Anderson ordered it. In fact, she ordered that I be taken to a warehouse, doused with gasoline, and burned. No, please don't interrupt. I expect the same lady in my office in 20 minutes. If you try to get this lady out of the country, I will report you for attempted murder. Have a nice day.“ With that, she hangs up and takes a big sip of coffee. Leila looks at Stan and asks, ”What do you have for me?" Stan and she do various things together, and after 20 minutes, there is a knock at the door. Leila hands Stan the cup and says, “Before you let them in, please refill it.” Stan nods and goes to the door. “One moment, please, and close the door behind you.” After another 5 minutes, he comes in, followed by Nicholas, Peter, Shawn, and Nicole Anderson. Leila looks at them and points to the chairs at the table. Then she hands Stan the cue card and he projects the interrogation onto the wall. After the interrogation is over, she explains, “What punishment is appropriate?”
She sips her coffee while looking at the figures. "I'll only say this once, this won't be punished with grounding or anything like that. What she was planning to do is a crime and she wanted to kill me. It's safe to say that I'm really angry. If I don't like your suggestion, I'll just hand her over to the police.“ Shawn clears his throat, ”I'm horrified and I apologize...“ Leila interrupts him, ”An apology isn't enough here, not by a long shot. So don't even start with that, Mr. Anderson." Peter interjects, “Those are just the words of a criminal, they're not proof.” Leila turns to Stan, “Call the police.” Then she turns to the family in front of her and nods, “Thanks for coming.” She turns to Peter and snorts as the door opens: "I thought you learned that it's wrong to cover up crimes. Seems like I've been too kind. Well, I can change that.“ The police chief enters, followed by Leila's lawyer. Leila stands up and addresses the police chief. ”I'm filing a report for attempted murder against me. My lawyer will give you all the evidence we've collected. In addition, I have the three hired assassins here in the house and they can be picked up right away. Miss Anderson ordered it.“ She presses the projector again and a recording of Miss Anderson can be seen standing on the street and saying, ”I want Leila dead. She put my best friend in jail and I can't let that happen. Take her to a warehouse and burn the bitch." The evidence is clear and there are no ifs or buts.
The police take Miss Anderson away, and Nicholas hasn't said a word the whole time, just staring at her coldly. She didn't expect anything else. As the door slams shut, she says, “Stan, I need a doctor—one of them stabbed me in the side.” Then she loses consciousness.
Nicholas
Nicholas and Peter are sitting in the office, working through paperwork, when Peter receives a call from Leila. He doesn't say anything, then hangs up and looks at Nicholas, “Leila wants us to bring Nicole over. We need to be there in 20 minutes. Apparently, she hired someone to kill Leila.”
Nicholas stares at him and asks, “What?” Then he calls his grandfather and explains the situation. They agree to meet there, and Nicholas calls Nicole and asks if she can come over. She confirms that she's practically around the corner, and they all get into the limousine. There, Nicholas asks, “Nicole, why did you order a murder?” Nicole stares at Nicholas and turns pale, but immediately cries out, “Nicholas, I would never do such a thing. You have to believe me.” Nicholas looks at his grandfather, who asks, “Perhaps with an apology?” Nicholas shakes his head, "I don't think so this time. She already let us down once, and then she orders a murder. I don't know how to say this, but we're in deep shit.“ Shawn says, ”But she's a sweet kid.“ Nicholas looks at his grandfather, ”Just imagine if Nicole were in Leila's place. What would you do?“ Nicole explains, ”I didn't do anything, and Leila is a nobody. She's nothing." Nicholas: “This is going to be really bad. Especially considering that Leila is Konrad's daughter.” Shawn turns pale, “I didn't think of that.” They arrive and take the elevator upstairs. There they are instructed to wait, and Nicholas says nothing. No protest, nothing. Stan returns with a new cup of coffee, and now they can enter. When Nicholas sees Leila, he knows it's going to be bad. She tells them to sit down and starts the interrogation video. He feels as if the weight on his heart has grown heavier. To say that this meeting is a disaster is an understatement, but he just doesn't know how to deal with this information about his family. His grandfather would have screamed murder if someone had done this to his granddaughter. As they leave the office and the door closes, he hears something fall to the floor and Stan cry out. Nicholas turns around and sees Leila lying on the floor. A pool of blood is spreading beneath her. Stan calls 911 and Nicholas takes off his jacket and presses firmly on the wound.
