Jason POV
We arrived in New York and I was beaten. It was a super short trip, and my body was suffering from exhaustion and jet lag. But I couldn't stop, the day after tomorrow, I will be having our monthly board member meeting and I needed to be ready.
As much as I wanted to go to the office and see her there, I was in no condition to do so. So against my urges and better judgement, I decided to go to my penthouse and have 2 days of home office. I texted Sonia and asked her to show up tomorrow at my penthouse to prepare for the meeting. It was definitely not the first time that I did this, so it was nothing new for Sonia.
I went inside my place and crashed. I don´t understand why the f**k I am so exhusted, but I understood that I needed my rest now, before going to war with the boar
