As we rode up in the crowded elevator to the top level suites, I eyed April closely. There was something different about her. Maybe a sadness now. My interest in her was piqued. Before, I thought of her as a self absorbed debutante looking for a sugar daddy. She thought she could trap me in marraige by declaring that we were engaged.
