we get about a hour into the trip back and the horse goes over a real thick tree root. A tree root so thick the wheel on the wagon got about six inches of air when it rolled over it. As the wheel hit the ground the wooden axil snapped in the wagon causing the wheel to roll off. now the back left corner of our wagon was being dragged thru the dirt. we stop the horse to get everything fixed up and gather the broken peices. soon realizing we can't fix the wagon we begin to pack up our items. we unhook the horse and put the bags on him. we begin to walk down the long trail thru the wilderness. we get about a hour into the walk and the sun starts to dissappear behind the trees. so we decide to set up a small camp a lil ways away from the trail. we set up a couple of makeshift tents , tie the horse down, and I dig a small hole in between the tents. I got some stones together to put around the hole. After getting the stones place I find some monkey fur at the bottom of a palm bush, I gather up some twigs then I take it back to the hole. I set the twigs up in a tpee position and put the monkey fur at the very bottom. I go grab the flint and steel and spark up the monkey fur to get a small fire going and while I'm doing all this Dad's out setting snares to catch us some rabbit or something for dinner. I get ready to go get a log to keep the fire going and all of a sudden Dad runs up and puts out the fire. He tells me to be quite for a second. suddenly the ground starts to shake off and on like a rhythm. The shaking gets worse and I start to hear "Fee Fi Fo, I'm walking down the Road and we got us a load". It gets louder and louder and the ground gets shakier and shakier. It wasn't long before we saw two or three giants walking the trail with a wagon cage with what appeared to be several people in it. we realized we're gonna have to be very cautious on our trip back to the farm. The giants continued down the trail and soon disappeared into the wilderness leaving everything in the area shaken up. We decide to go without the fire for the night after seeing the giants. We try to get some rest. About a hour or two into the night I wake up. Dad's in his tent sound asleep. I decide to get up and check on the horse. everything seemed ok. I start to walk back to my tent and I hear a loud boom not to far away. The horse has a mini panick attack and before I know it Dad's awake asking me what's going on? I tell him there was a boom not to far away. We decide to go investigate.
