chapter 4: A mysterious Boom

we begin walking through the woods in the direction of the loud noise. soon the ground begins to get a little shaky again but this time no singing. we keep walking just a little ways up and things started to get a little warm. I notice there was a small fire by a tree lighting up what was almost complete darkness. Not yet able to figure out what's happening a humongous fire ball Flys past us lighting up a path where ever it goes. It Flys past the head of a giant running in our direction. we jump behind a tree and it runs past us as another fire ball Flys by. we hear a roar as the ground shakes like a earthquake. we notice a giant black winged dragon with bright red eyes blowing fire ball after fire ball at this giant while another giant rushes the dragon. right as the Giant gets to the dragon. The dragon flies up to avoid the giant. It blows fire at the giant that had rushed it turning it into a pile of pure white ash. The other Giant shoots the dragon with an arrow causing it to roar and Blow back to back fireballs the size of a small house. The giant dodges the fireballs and continues to shoot arrows at the red eyed dragon in the sky. Making the dragon angrier it then begins to fly around blowing lines of fire. The Giant gets burnt but continues to shoot arrows. after Dodging a few arrows the dragon is once again striked and Flys off. Now that the woods all around are on fire lighting up the night the giant had no choice but to retreat down the trail a little ways away. Me and my Dad amazed at what we witnessed ran back to camp before the fire spread and packed it back up onto the horse. we begin to walk thru the wilderness in the night leaving behind the firey woods but we still have a long, long ways to go. we walk for a couple hours and the sun begins to rise and the birds start to chirp. there's a nice breeze in the air and the green grass is moist. we come up on a lake and decide to rest for a little bit. Dad puts together a makeshift fishing pole. He catches a couple large mouth bass. we fille them and cook them up on some stones over a fire. after some hours go by. we pack back up and continue our journey thru the wilderness. As we walked by the lake we re-enter another portion of woods. we continue to walk thru the day. The sun starts to go down again and my necklace begins to feel alive almost. we continue to walk and suddenly the red eyed dragon appears in front of us about 25 feet away. we freeze in shock. staring at the giant red eyed, black scaled dragon staring right back at us. silence takes over for a couple minutes.
