Lina's POV
"Lina..." I felt someone pinching my chin. It hurt a little. I mumbled, opening my eyes groggily. Was someone calling me?
The moment I saw the handsome face of the man hovering above me, I froze. My drowsiness vanished instantly!
I remembered what had just happened. Oh God! I had grabbed Adrian's hand in my sleep, and I think I even begged him to hold me?
My face was burning with embarrassment!
Adrian withdrew his hand from my face with deliberate slowness.
"Hmm, no fever," he said, his voice cool and controlled.
"I-I'm fine now, the rash is gone," I stammered, trying to recover some dignity. "You're home early from work, Alpha Storm."
Adrian gave me a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Not early. It's already six o'clock."
"What? I slept that long?"
