Scarlett’s POV-
The next morning, I woke up feeling excited and a heck of a lot better than I had for the past few days. I think a part of me knowing that I could reach out to my father has helped me feel better. It was reassuring to know that I had the power to do that. Then there were the handcuffs that my mother had created. They are now destroyed. I never have to fear them again, especially given that the witches will never create them to be used against me. They have an agreement with us, we will leave them alone, as long as they leave us alone. I knew the witches would not want to incur my wrath.
