Scarlett’s POV-
After Damien and Birsha left me with Adora, she looped her arm in my arm, and led me to the garden area, where the wrath demon children were playing. It was during the day, so I did wonder whether these kids ever went to school to learn anything. There was a table for us to sit at. The tea had all been set up. It was quite beautiful in the garden here, very serene. Adora led me to that table. We sat down together. Adora shakily poured me a cup of tea from the teapot. She whispered, “I am sorry. I am a little nervous about today, your highness. It is not every day I get to host royalty for tea.”
I placed my hand on hers, and said, “Right now, forget that I am royalty, all I am is your sons’ mate. Damien and Birsha’s mate. That I am here to see you, my mother-in-law.”
