Draven’s POV-
After killing an eighth demon and capturing a fourth demon, Cuthbert instructed me to get some well-deserved rest and have the night off. Honestly, I needed it. It has been a few days since I saw Lilah for longer than an hour, so hopefully I will be able to spend the night getting to know her. She is overly cautious around me, she doesn’t seem to want to fight or argue against me for the most part. I think she is in part scared of me. I am the monster who killed her parents and claims to be her mate. Of course, she is afraid of me. That is part of the reason I am trying to be nice to her. It is why I got her all those things, and make her food as often as I can. She needs to see that I will try to look after her, that she can trust me.
