Scarlett’s POV-
The moment I finally regained consciousness, I surveyed my surroundings. The throbbing in my head was bad. My demon was still out of reach and my witch magic was still suppressed. My hands were tied behind my back with those cuffs they had. It took everything I had to move my hands under me, so that I could get them in front of me. The blow to my head left me feeling dizzy. I wanted to look at the cuffs. I needed to take a closer look. I spotted the witch symbols. I found something in the room, and scrubbed the cuffs on the corner of something sharp. I was hoping that the destruction of one or more of these symbols would break the spell. It is normally the way with spells. I was hoping my witch magic would be back by the time any of them came for me, but it hadn’t.
