After leaving the restaurant and saying goodbye to Amelia and her mates, I teleported us back to Scarlett’s house in the human world. We, after all, stay there during the week while we are at university, save having to keep teleporting back to the demon world. It can get tiring for our demons to have to keep teleporting back and forth into the demon world, especially the more we have to do it. It just made sense to stay in Scarlett’s home. I could tell Birsha was desperate for us to be alone, I could see the glint in his eyes. He wanted to make love to us.
