I had never felt as nervous as I did when Scarlett crowned me as her prince consort. I know everyone was treating Damien and me as princes from the moment Abaddon was killed, but it was now official. These ceremonies are a formality, a legal stepping stone. It also gives the demon people a chance to celebrate. We never miss the chance to have a banquet. Especially a banquet at the palace.
Now Damien and I have been crowned as princes, I have to admit I feel different. Everyone was already addressing us as your highness, but now it suddenly feels more official.
