After Scarlett’s appearance on the battlefield, I was furious. I wanted to get her out of here, to somewhere safe, but she had other ideas. Birsha was the first to get me to stop. We had been feeling her rage all day, because of what the werewolves had done to her home and Cerb. But right at that moment, her rage, though controlled, was fiercely powerful. She needed it to be let out. She needed to calm down, and that was only going to happen if she got a little payback for what they did to her home and Cerb.
