I contacted Bune straight away and arranged for coffee and lunch to be brought to us in the throne room. I have to admit I was surprised there were no more questions about Scarlett’s lineage. She is a descendant of two deities that would make people envious. Samael did mention to me, through demon call, that he could feel the envy coming off of the other members of both of the councils. This is the handy thing about demons: we can sense certain emotions from people around us, depending on the type of demon we are.
