Draven’s POV-
After being left in this bedroom with Lilah, I felt a little uncomfortable. I think it was more because the guards that had been left with us were staring daggers at me. Without Scarlett and her mates here, there would be no one to reign them in, if they got out of hand. It made me more cautious, and I wanted to pull Lilah beside me, not letting anyone near her.
I have to admit the bedroom is lavishly decorated. I mean, I get we are in a palace, but never imagined they would give us this room. It is decorated better than any other room I have ever stayed in. I think I am more surprised I am in a room like this and not the dungeons, which is what I was kind of expecting.
Lilah squeezed my hand, breaking me from my gawking of the room we were in. My attention snapped back
