When they had both fully calmed down, I realized my father and Arnoldo had been talking the entire time. I was grateful they kept talking while I calmed my mates down. Dad smiled at me and gave a discrete nod, which we reciprocated with a nod of our own.
“I am sorry I upset you, lads,” Arnoldo said.
