Council Headquarters  Tribunal of Alistar the Kight of Dread “You failed!” the elder screamed from his seat on the high board, “How could you let this happen, she is our first step to the end of our crusade.” Alastair stared before him not daring to raise his head. The council was furious that Elaina had escaped their mental control,  no one had ever planned on her magic returning after so long.  I kept her from using ing it for nearly 20 years. Yet in a matter of hours, that abomination had it returning to her at full strength. “ Alastair the girl was under your care, it was your soul mission to make her dependent upon the Council and the Armory her only goal in life.” another elder said, calmer than the first, “She will be harder to marry off as now none of the younger males will reject her magic.” A murmur went around the chamber as the other men on the council began to understand the seriousness of the issues at hand. Without her magic repressed and virtually none useable she will be ostracized, shunned from any of the young men already training to be the patriarch of the first line of Holy Swords. Melody stood next to her husband, facing his shame with him, but unlike her husband she had a plan to negate the damage and bring the girl back to the Council willing or not. “My lords, I beg you hear out my plan” She spoke head held high, making eye contact with the head of the council. “The girl will be at the monsters family castle, we need the only pear into the memories you retained from her to find its location.” The nodding from a majority of the council, she continued “We need only take her when they are not present, then you may once again place her under your control. With her magick she will be a better weapon to use, using the enemy’s own skills against them.”Alastair stared at his wife, She has been planning this from the beginning HIs thoughts growing angrier by the minute as she held the council’s attention, her plan meeting a steady growth of acceptance amongst the majority. “Even if we must face the Temps we will be able to take them down a peg, show them our strength and help to curb the other creatures that look to them.” Melody had saved her husband’s face and life with her plan, but little did she know she had put her own at risk not just from her husband. All males raised by the council saw women beneath them and they were not to speak in the council chambers, even when they had a better plan. But lucky for her she had made a submissive enough wife for long enough to supply the Armory with two progenies and a daughter fo great use to the healers. So her plan was put into action will the Council prepared a mobile version of their brainwashing devices. Though the council had declared her plan usable her husband had not forgotten how she stepped out of her place and planned an educational night just for her. Ancient home of the Clan Chamber to the Crones, the larger room held a silver pool filled with mountain spring water. Use only by the oldest of the clan for scrying of the most urgent matters. The reflection showing the inner chambers of the Council, ancient looking women sat beside the pool staring at it with dark smiles on their faces.   "They are such fools, Never learning the extent of our powers, and how we could use their plans against them," One woman said as she began to laugh at the withered old men. No one on the council knew the limits of the girl or her true talents, as they had kept it from her for her entire life. Not even Alastair knew what she was capable of, having known her mother and the considerable talents he observed, they hadn’t cared enough to see the use in her gifts especially the recon ability that her mother was well known for. No single member of the council felt the witches swatching them, listening to their plans, all despite their supposed gifts from God. The clan had always known what the council was planning and had always been one step ahead of them, where ever a member of their blood was they had eyes whenever their blood was spilled they would always have eyes. Which meant that they would be there just in time to help Elona the lost one get justice for what has been to her and her mother. Many of the women in the Clan had been upset that the allowance of the theft of the child, but the Crones held firm to the plan as the Goddess had shown them and the girl's mother why it would be necisarry. But even the visions had not shown how the Council got the child from her mother, for that all the women regretted the use fo the plan. Esmeralda had never deterred her from following the will of her Goddess, and she had been blessed throughout the years with many gifts, but no more children could come from her body, the damage had been too severe. The Crones of the clan relaid the messages to the traveling party going with Esmeralda to finally meet her daughter. Weapons and armor were packed and a sense of joy grew amongst the women of the clan as they prepared for the journey, Even the Crones were joyous at more than just the prospect of Elona joining their ranks. Vengeance for millions will be with their grasp, and they will bring their newest into the fold on such a joyous day was a gift from the Goddess herself. "We shall give them a small dose of what is to come when Elona rises," The head of the Mother's said as she sent more women out to inform the healers and warriors of the new plan, smiling she began sharpening her sword, thinking of how she will repay her sisters pain on the men of the Council.
