Chapter 24There wasn’t time to investigate the transit module before it arrived at the next habitation pod. Not fully. Jules walked around the common area, looking at the items left behind by the previous crew.
A workstation, displays inactive had stickers of anime characters around the sides of the display area. Human and non-human anime. He wasn’t familiar with the characters and stories. He ran a finger across the cold display and it activated at his touch, requesting authorization. MAR-A was in the systems and could override the request, but Jules didn’t ask the droid.
Since they’d started moving, MAR-A had sat unmoving and silent at its chosen station. Sulking. Though MAR-A said it was monitoring the systems throughout the ship.
Whatever MAR-A might be, it appeared to be an emotion
