Chapter 10Jules watched their approach from the passenger’s observation lounge. With the Olympia as the transport’s apogee stop, he had the lounge to himself. The room’s outer wall was a large curved window some six meters high that ran the length of cylindrical room. At the back of the room were risers with adjustable seats designed to accommodate a variety of species, the color of the entire room a matte dark gray, like the color of an asteroid’s surface. The seats and the flat area of floor that ran out to the window had the same pebbled texture. He stood at rest, hands clasped behind his back.
