I answered Kara’s call right away, and as soon as I heard her voice, I felt calm. Her effect on me is really outstanding.
Jared: “Hello?”
Kara: “Hey. Where are you? Is everything all right?”
Jared: “Hey, I’m sorry I didn’t contact you earlier. Everything’s fine, I just got held up at home. I’ll tell you about it later. I’m coming to see you now.”
Kara: “It’s okay. I was just worried. Don’t hurry up and take your time.”
Jared: “Okay. I’ll see you soon. I love you.”
Kara: “I love you too. Bye.”
When I put the phone down, I saw Leon smiling. I forgot that he was in the room and that he could hear me.
Leon: “Your relationship with Kara seems to be going well.”
Jared: “It is.”
Leon: “Well, you should go see your lady. She must be waiting for you.”
