I went to the diner to speak with Pearl regarding Leon’s job offer. I had Carmela pick me up since it was too early, and I didn’t want to bother Jared. We were supposed to meet at lunchtime, and I wanted to invite him to the diner so we could eat there.
When Pearl saw me, she asked how I was. She was relieved when I told her I was okay. I asked to speak with her and told her about Leon’s job offer. I told her I’d stay as long as she needed me.
