DRIX'S house is very impressive. I've always known that his family is among the richest in town, but I didn't expect their house to be this big. Leon's mansion is still bigger, though.
Jared and I headed inside, and loud music was blaring. I thought this was just going to be a small event, but almost every student in the school is here. At least the ones that matter is.
Jared greeted a few people but never let go of my hand. We headed to the back of the house where the pool was, and we found Drix and his buddies. He's making out with Mariah, but the way they're doing it looks like they're eating each other's faces.
When they were done, Drix had us sit right next to him. Mariah is sitting on Drix's lap, so I declined. Mariah might take offense if I sat on the same couch as her.
