I got sleepy before we finished the movie, and I retired to my room while Devin headed to the guest room. As we watched the movie, he was a gentleman the entire time and didn’t try anything. I accidentally leaned my head on his shoulder when I dozed off for a bit and apologized when I realized what had happened.
He chuckled and said, “Don’t sweat it. Your head weighed like nothing.”
As I laid in bed, I couldn’t stop smiling at the pleasant date we just had. I like how Devin is so open, and he made me feel comfortable the entire time. It alleviated the guilt I was feeling. I don’t even know why I was feeling guilty. It’s not like I’m cheating on anyone, let alone Jared. He’s not my mate anymore. He made it clear when he rejected me and got engaged to another woman.
